Two weeks ago was Brandon's spring break. While it rained most of the week, we tried to make the most of the moments where the weather was nice. We took one day and went to the zoo. Adelynne was less than thrilled, but Aubrey had a ball. We got to ride the train, carousel, see the dolphin show, and Aubrey even got to roar at the tiger who was sleeping:)
We've also been spending time in the garage preparing for a garage sale. Since we're having a boy in June, we are ridding ourselves of all our baby girl stuff. This makes me sad. As I am pricing things, I have very vivid memories of the girls in some of the clothes. I can't believe how big they are getting. We are also preparing to paint this little boy's room and set up the crib soon.
Our yard, much to Brandon's disgust, is a mess. Dandelions and violets have taken over and there are spots that flood very easy. So, Brandon has his mind set on working on the yard all summer. The girls are very much ok with this, as that means they get to play in the yard while daddy works.
We've been enjoying sidewalk chalk, bubbles, eating dinner outside, digging in the dirt, and Aubrey is learning to use a bat. We're trying to relax a little before another baby comes to disrupt harmony:)
These are the T-shirt that grandma Ellen and Papaw Dave brought home from Florida.
Isn't she so pretty?
We were making oatmeal raisin cookies here. I think Adelynne scooped more cookie dough with her hands than any kid I have ever seen.
Here are some shots from our zoo trip.
Watch out!
