Catch up!

Whew! What a crazy few weeks we've had. I'm not really even sure where to begin. Brandon has been really sick with a sinus infection/virus/flu. He's going on about day 10 and seems to be doing better, but still isn't well. He's nearing the end of golf season, but had 4 meets last week! He was beat...and so was I for that matter:) Friday was his Mid-State meet, a tournament with 7 teams. His team came in second and one of his players was #1 overall. He was pretty pumped about that! Go Quakers!

The kids and I have just been going about our daily routine. Aubrey has preschool on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Every now and then we pop into PCMS to surprise Brandon with lunch. We visit the library almost weekly and we cram in 2 to 3 walks daily. I feel the weight of the cool weather upon us and so we try to get out as much as possible.

Nolan is 3 1/2 months now, and I can't belive it! He's sleeping a little more consistenly now...and I use the term "consistent" loosely. He's getting so strong and is really becoming more and more aware of the things around him.

Some exciting things we are looking forward to in the coming weeks are the Quaker Day Parade and Festival here in Plainfield on Saturday and Aubrey's 4th birthday the next weekend. I can't belive she's 4!

We praise God for all He's done for us and give thanks for his Son!

My "little big" girl

Well, Adelynne has been naked all week. Why you ask? Because we have been potty training! I've asked myself why I decided to do this with a 3 month old who doesn't sleep through the night and who's nighttime routine is SO unpredictable, and then I realize... I am tired of changing 2 sets of diapers! :) Along with that she's been asking, trying to pull her diaper off, etc, etc. She's actually doing really well. She goes a very long time being dry and we only had one accident yesterday! We took Aubrey to preschool, walked home, went to McDonald's to pick up lunch, ate with daddy at school, drove home, and walked to and from preschool again to pick up Aubrey...and she was dry the whole time! Woohoo! We have the potty seat in the middle of the living room floor so she can just go and sit whenever she feels the "urge." We've found, while it's hard and requires A LOT of patience, that it's easier and less confusing for her to just devote an entire week to potty training...cold turkey. She wears a diaper at nap and bedtime... that's it. With Aubrey, the minute we put a diaper or pull-up on her...she peed. So, with that, she's just been naked all week (we put undies and pants on her if we leave the house:) Way to go Adie! 2 down, 1 more to go! :)

Brandon and I were talking the other night about how amazing it is that we can love all these kids the same, and with it being so instant. People ask us how we like having a boy. I say, "I couldn't possibly love it any more than I already do." He's a perfect addition to our family.

Littlest Colts Fans!

My mom bought the girls the cute Peyton Manning t-shirts (Thanks mom!). And my sister bought Nolan the Colts onsie (Thanks Aunt Sarah!). They all look so cute, and they were purchased just in time for the season opener. Go Colts!

1st day of Preschool

Well, I woke up today and little blue and short of breath as I knew that I was going to take Aubrey to preschool, and leave her there for 2 whole hours! She didn't go until 11:30 am so it's all I heard about this morning. Once I got everyone loaded up to walk her to school, I got tears in my eyes. We live less that a 10 minute walk from her school which is great. We had to wait outside the classroom while the teachers got everything ready. Once the door was open, she was in there sitting on the story rug before I could even call her name. She didn't even look back. I entered the room to take a few pictures and to ask her if I could have a kiss. She obliged but then was right back sitting down staring at the teacher before I could unpucker my lips. I am so thankful that she's independent and ready for fun! But, I then have to ask myself where the last 4 years have gone! The entire walk home, Adelynne whined, "Aubwee." It broke mammas heart! Enjoy the pics!

I promise not to post anything else today...but I just had to post this picture of Nolan. Brandon was so happy to see that Nolan's head now fits into a hat. Sweet!

For Papaw Dave!

Hail Purdue!

Bath time with daddy

Brandon always takes the best pictures of the girls. It's usually when they are in the tub and confined. :) Here are some he's taken recently.

Mosson reunion

Every year on the Sunday of Labor Day the Mosson family gets together at the Frankfort Park for a pitch in lunch. I totally dropped the ball this year in taking pictures (it could be b/c I had a fussy baby while making sure the other 2 didn't get hit by cars:). The girls had a ball with their cousins Drew and Reid, and Brandon and I enjoyed visiting with family. We left hot, sweaty, sticky, dirty and tired. A good time was had by all!

2 Months old

Mr. Nolan had his 2 month appointment on Monday and he looked healthy and happy. He now weighs 11lbs & 15 oz...nearly doubling his "bring home" weight. Brandon and I both are amazed at how quickly he's growing. We are so thankful for that.
